Oben Electric has officially commenced customer deliveries of the Rorr Evo, its latest electric motorcycle, after receiving an overwhelming market response with over 25,000 bookings within just 15 days of launch. The first batch of deliveries took place in Bengaluru during the company’s signature ‘First to Rorr’ delivery event, with deliveries set to expand across its growing nationwide dealership network over the coming weeks.

The strong demand makes the Rorr Evo one of the fastest-selling electric motorcycles in its segment, highlighting the increasing acceptance of performance-oriented electric motorcycles in India.

Nationwide Rollout Underway

Oben Electric plans to begin deliveries through its network of 150+ showrooms across 90+ cities in 18 states, supported by dedicated Oben Care service centres. The company says its fully operational manufacturing facility, capable of producing 1 lakh motorcycles annually, is well-equipped to meet growing demand while maintaining consistent quality and customer experience.

Electric Motorcycles Gain Momentum

With motorcycles accounting for nearly 65% of India’s two-wheeler market, Oben believes the electrification of this segment will play a crucial role in accelerating EV adoption. The company aims to bridge the gap between performance, practicality, and affordability through products like the Rorr Evo.

Commenting on the milestone, Madhumita Agrawal, Founder & CEO of Oben Electric, said the start of deliveries marks an important step in translating strong customer demand into real-world ownership while reinforcing confidence in electric motorcycles as a practical everyday mobility solution.

Performance and Technology

Priced at ₹1,24,999 (ex-showroom), the Oben Rorr Evo is powered by the company’s in-house developed 9 kW electric motor paired with a 3.4 kWh LFP battery pack. The motorcycle delivers a claimed 180 km range, a top speed of 110 km/h, and accelerates from 0-40 km/h in just 3 seconds.

The battery supports 0-80% fast charging in 90 minutes and is backed by an 8-year battery warranty, offering one of the most comprehensive coverage packages in the segment.

The Rorr Evo introduces SmartIQ™, Oben’s AI-powered ride optimisation system that claims to improve riding range by up to 15%. Other highlights include:

The company says this approach enables tighter control over quality, technology development, and supply chain management as it scales production across India.
