Oben Electric has launched the all-new Oben Rorr EVO in India at an introductory price of ₹99,999 (ex-showroom) for the first 10,000 customers. Designed as a no-compromise electric motorcycle, the Rorr EVO blends performance, practicality, and advanced technology to redefine expectations in the segment.

Design and Performance

The Rorr EVO features a bold streetfighter design with muscular proportions, highlighted by a projector LED headlamp and sculpted bodywork. It delivers a top speed of 110 km/h and an IDC-certified range of 180 km, making it suitable for both urban commutes and longer rides.

The motorcycle supports fast charging, achieving 0–80% in 90 minutes via the Oben Plug, while an onboard charger ensures convenient daily charging.

SmartIQ and Powertrain

A key highlight is Oben’s SmartIQ system—an AI-powered ride mode that adapts to rider behaviour in real time, optimising performance and extending range by up to 15%.

Powering the bike is an IP68-rated motor paired with a single-stage chain drive for improved durability and torque delivery. It is backed by a 3.4 kWh LFP battery, offering higher heat resistance and double the lifecycle compared to conventional lithium-ion units. The battery comes with an 8-year warranty.

Practicality and Features

The Rorr EVO sets new benchmarks in usability with a 780 mm seat height, 200 mm ground clearance, and 230 mm water-wading capability. It also offers 10 litres of storage, including under-seat and tank storage, along with dual USB charging ports and a reverse mode for added convenience.

Safety and Connectivity

Safety features include Fall Alert with Emergency Assist, Unified Brake Assist (UBA), and Driver Alert System (DAS). The motorcycle also features a 5-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity, offering navigation, alerts, and ride data.

Through the Oben app, riders get access to features like geo-fencing, remote diagnostics, theft protection, and access to a 68,000+ charging network.

Price and Availability

The introductory price of ₹99,999 applies to the first 10,000 customers, after which the motorcycle will be priced at ₹1,24,999 (ex-showroom). Bookings are open at ₹777, with test rides and deliveries set to begin from June 2026 across 150 showrooms in India.

With aggressive pricing, smart features, and practical usability, the Oben Rorr EVO aims to accelerate adoption of electric motorcycles in India’s mass segment.
