Keeway India has entered the premium electric scooter segment with the launch of the Hypevolt-R, its most advanced electric scooter yet. Priced at an introductory ₹1.99 lakh (ex-showroom), the new Hypevolt-R combines performance-focused engineering, premium features, and advanced rider assistance technologies for urban and highway use.
The electric scooter is available in Crystal White and Platinum Grey, with bookings now open for ₹5,000 through Keeway India’s official website and its network of over 40 dealerships across the country.
At the heart of the Hypevolt-R is a 5kWh dual removable battery pack, delivering an IDC-certified range of 180 km on a single charge. The batteries can be charged either on or off the scooter, while in-vehicle fast charging enables 0-80% charging in approximately three hours, improving convenience for everyday users.
Power comes from a mid-mounted Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) producing 12kW of peak power, allowing the scooter to sprint from 0-40 km/h in just 2.3 seconds. It offers a claimed top speed of 115 km/h and can tackle inclines of up to 30 degrees. Riders can choose between Eco, Normal, and Sport riding modes depending on their preferred balance of performance and efficiency.
Keeway has also equipped the Hypevolt-R with an extensive list of rider assistance and safety features. These include Traction Control System (TCS), Dual-Channel ABS, Hill Hold Control, Hill Descent Control, Intelligent Cruise Control, Blind Spot Detection, and a Rear Reverse Camera, positioning it among the most feature-rich electric scooters currently available in India.

Deliveries of the Keeway Hypevolt-R are expected to commence shortly.
