Kia India has officially launched the Syros EV, its second made-in-India mass-market electric vehicle, with introductory prices starting at ₹13.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Positioned as a feature-rich electric SUV, the Syros EV combines an impressive ARAI-certified range of up to 526 km, advanced technology, and one of the industry’s strongest ownership packages to accelerate EV adoption in India.

The Syros EV will be available at Kia dealerships across the country from July 30, 2026, with prices ranging from ₹13.49 lakh to ₹19.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

Ownership Package Sets New Benchmark

Beyond competitive pricing, Kia has introduced a comprehensive ownership package to address key concerns around electric vehicle adoption. The Syros EV comes with a Lifetime High Voltage Battery Warranty (15 years with unlimited kilometres for the first owner), an industry-leading Assured Buyback programme offering up to 80% resale value after three years, and a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) financing model that significantly lowers the upfront purchase cost.

Under the BaaS programme, customers can own the Syros EV from ₹7.99 lakh, while paying a transparent battery subscription cost of ₹3.3 per kilometre, making electric mobility more affordable.

Up to 526 km Range and Fast Charging

The Syros EV is offered with two battery pack options. The 51.4 kWh Extended Range version delivers an ARAI-certified range of 526 km, becoming the first vehicle in its segment to cross the 500 km mark, while the 42 kWh variant offers a claimed range of 443 km.

Power comes from an electric motor producing 171 PS, enabling the SUV to sprint from 0-100 kmph in 8.1 seconds. The EV also supports 100 kW DC fast charging, allowing the battery to charge from 10% to 80% in just 39 minutes.

Additional EV-specific features include i-Pedal, regenerative braking with paddle shifters, Vehicle-to-Load (V2L), Battery Heating System, Virtual Engine Sound System (VESS), and Shift-by-Wire controls.

Connected, Premium and Safe

The Syros EV features a 30-inch Trinity Panoramic Display, combining dual 12.3-inch screens with a dedicated climate control display. It also offers wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Kia Connect with over 95 connected features, OTA updates, Harman Kardon premium audio, panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, powered driver’s seat, smart dashcam, ambient lighting, and a 16-litre front trunk.

Safety is equally comprehensive with Level 2 ADAS featuring 16 autonomous driving assistance functions, a 360-degree camera, blind view monitor, parking collision avoidance, six airbags, ESC, TPMS, ISOFIX mounts, Electronic Parking Brake with Auto Hold, and 25 standard safety features.

Nationwide Charging Support

Kia has strengthened the ownership experience through its K-Charge ecosystem, accessible via the MyKia app. The platform integrates more than 20,300 charging points across 23 charging operators, while the brand’s network includes over 129 dealerships with DC fast chargers, 275 EV-ready workshops, and 900+ customer touchpoints across 400 cities.
