Hyundai Motor India Limited has launched the updated Hyundai IONIQ 5 in India, introducing significant upgrades across performance, technology, and safety. The electric SUV is now priced at ₹55.7 lakh (ex-showroom).
Built on Hyundai’s E-GMP platform, the refreshed IONIQ 5 now features a larger 84.0 kWh battery pack, delivering a claimed range of up to 690 km (ARAI), enhancing its long-distance usability and reducing range anxiety.

The update also brings subtle exterior revisions, including redesigned bumpers, new alloy wheels, and updated lighting elements, while retaining its signature Parametric Pixel design language. Inside, the cabin gets improved ergonomics with a redesigned steering wheel, dual 12.3-inch displays, and an updated wireless charging setup.
On the tech front, the new IONIQ 5 introduces wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, over-the-air updates, in-car payment integration for EV charging, and enhanced connected car features. Safety has also been strengthened with additions such as Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist (Rear) and side parking sensors.
With these updates, the IONIQ 5 continues to strengthen its position as a premium, tech-forward electric SUV in the Indian market.
