Avore Electric, the technology-driven electric two-wheeler brand from Samarth E-Mobility, has entered India’s electric motorcycle segment with the launch of its first model, the Avore Electric EX. Unveiled by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, the EX series is offered in three variants—EX 2S, EX 2 and EX 1—with prices starting at ₹1,24,999 (ex-showroom).
Developed entirely in-house over three years, the EX has been built around the company’s philosophy of “Intelligence Beyond Motion”, integrating advanced software, AI-powered features and indigenous engineering to deliver a connected riding experience.
The motorcycle is powered by a rare-earth-free Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) producing between 7.5 kW and 10.5 kW, while delivering 250 Nm of peak wheel torque across all variants. The flagship EX 2S reaches a top speed of 114 km/h, while the EX 2 and EX 1 offer a maximum speed of 100 km/h.
Range figures stand at 260 km (IDC) for the EX 2S, 255 km for the EX 2 and 160 km for the EX 1. A 1,500W onboard fast charger allows the battery to charge from 20% to 80% in around two hours, with a full charge taking approximately four hours using a standard household socket.
Avore has also introduced several proprietary technologies, including the AVORE SENSE operating system, AVA (Avore Vehicle Assistance), Avore Synapse AI, Syft manual gear mode, Apex performance mode, and an industry-first Integrated Motor + Swingarm Powertrain (Drive Link Arm) designed to improve handling and weight distribution.
The EX has undergone more than 1,00,000 km of road testing and 2,500 hours of dynamometer validation, while complying with AIS 156 and AIS 038 safety standards. Buyers will also receive a 5-year/60,000 km battery warranty.
The motorcycle is available in three dual-tone colours for the EX 2S and EX 2, while the EX 1 gets three single-tone colour options. Bookings have opened at ₹799 on the official Avore Electric website, with showroom availability beginning next month and customer deliveries expected within two months.
