Toyota Kirloskar Motor has introduced the all-new ninth-generation Hilux in India, further strengthening its SUV portfolio with a pickup renowned worldwide for its durability, reliability and off-road capability. Built on Toyota’s proven IMV platform, the latest Hilux has been engineered to deliver exceptional versatility, combining everyday comfort with heavy-duty capability and adventure-ready performance.

The new Hilux adopts Toyota’s ‘Tough & Agile’ design philosophy, featuring a bold front fascia inspired by the ‘Cyber Sumo’ concept. The refreshed exterior includes a redesigned bumper with piano black accents, LED headlamps with welcome function, LED fog lamps, daytime running lights, new alloy wheels, electrically retractable ORVMs, LED tail lamps and a shark-fin antenna, giving the pickup a more modern and commanding road presence.

Powering the Hilux is Toyota’s proven 2.8-litre BS6 Phase 2 diesel engine, producing 204 PS and 500 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Equipped with an 80-litre fuel tank, the pickup has been designed for long-distance touring, demanding work environments and challenging terrain alike.

The Hilux continues to offer Toyota’s renowned 4×4 system with High (H4) and Low (L4) range, complemented by an Electronic Differential Lock, Downhill Assist Control and a robust suspension setup featuring double wishbones at the front and leaf springs at the rear. Combined with generous approach and departure angles, the pickup is built to tackle demanding off-road conditions with confidence.

Inside, the cabin receives significant upgrades with a premium finish, featuring soft-touch materials, metallic accents and improved practicality. Key features include a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Toyota i-Connect connected car technology, wireless charging, PM2.5 air filtration, cruise control, multiple drive modes, Smart Entry with Push Button Start, and an eight-speaker audio system.

Safety remains a strong focus, with the Hilux equipped with seven airbags, Vehicle Stability Control, ABS with Brake Assist, TPMS, front and rear parking sensors, a panoramic view monitor, ISOFIX child seat anchors and Toyota’s GOA body structure, delivering comprehensive protection for occupants.

The all-new Hilux is available in three variants:

  • 4×2 GX AT – ₹31.99 lakh
  • 4×4 GX AT – ₹33.69 lakh
  • 4×4 VX AT – ₹36.69 lakh

Toyota also introduces two new exterior colours—Sulphur Metallic and Ash—alongside Super White, Platinum Pearl White, Attitude Black+ and Emotional Red. Buyers can further personalise the Hilux with a range of genuine accessories, including headlamp garnish, side mouldings, door garnish kits and side visors.
