Tata Motors has introduced an update to the Nexon EV Max XZ+ Lux trim, equipping it with a new 10.25-inch touchscreen. The pricing for the XZ+ Lux with the 3.3kW charger starts at Rs 18.79 lakh (ex-showroom, India), while the version with the 7.2kW charger is priced at Rs 19.29 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

This new trim of the Tata Nexon EV Max features several enhancements, including wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, an upgraded reverse camera, and an integrated voice assistant. The 10.25-inch touchscreen was first introduced on the Nexon EV Max Dark edition, and it brings a modern and advanced infotainment system to the vehicle.

The Nexon EV Max is equipped with a 40.5kWh battery that provides an ARAI-claimed range of 453km. Power is delivered to the front wheels by a single-electric motor, generating 143hp and 250Nm of torque.

The Nexon EV Max comes with two chargers as standard: a 3.3kW charger and a 7.2kW charger. Using the 3.3kW charger, the battery can be charged from 10 to 100 percent in around 15 hours, while the 7.2kW charger achieves the same charge in approximately 6.5 hours. The Nexon EV Max Dark edition also supports up to 50kW DC fast charging, enabling the battery to be charged from 0 to 80 percent in 56 minutes, as claimed by Tata.

In terms of competition, the Tata Nexon EV Max competes with the recently launched Mahindra XUV400, which is priced between Rs 15.99 lakh and Rs 19.19 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
