Renault India has strengthened its presence in the highly competitive B-SUV segment with an expanded Renault Kiger range, introducing new variants and making turbocharged performance more accessible to a wider customer base.
The updated Kiger lineup now features the new Evolution+ variant across both Naturally Aspirated and Turbo petrol powertrains, while Renault has also expanded the availability of its turbocharged engine options. The move aims to democratise premium features and performance-oriented driving experiences in the compact SUV space.
New Evolution+ Variant Introduced
Positioned to bridge the gap between existing trims, the new Evolution+ variant adds several customer-focused features that were previously available in higher variants.
Key highlights include:
- Smart Access Card with Push Start/Stop
- Automatic Climate Control
- Wireless Smartphone Replication
- Driver Seat Height Adjustment
- Premium Light Embossed Fabric Upholstery
The variant is available with the Naturally Aspirated manual, Naturally Aspirated AMT, and Turbo Manual powertrain options.
Turbo Performance Now More Accessible
One of the key highlights of the updated range is the expansion of Renault’s turbocharged offerings. The company has increased the number of Turbo variants from three to five, making the Kiger Turbo one of the most accessible turbo-petrol SUVs in the entry B-SUV segment.
Additionally, the Techno Turbo variant is now available with a 5-speed manual gearbox, offering buyers a more affordable entry point into Renault’s 100 PS turbocharged petrol engine lineup.
The Naturally Aspirated Kiger range has also been expanded from six to eight variants, providing customers with greater flexibility across different price points and feature requirements.
