Kia India introduces the refreshed 2024 Carens with a 6-seater option, starting at INR 1,211,900, and the 1.5 Diesel MT Carens priced at INR 12,66,900.
Kia, the leading premium carmaker in India, has unveiled the 2024 Refreshed Carens today, featuring a new 6-speed 1.5 Diesel manual transmission in the U2 1.5 VGT engine variant. This latest inclusion expands the trim lineup to an impressive 30 options, further solidifying Carens’ position as the segment leader in offering a diverse range of trims.
Highlights:
- Expands trim line up from 23 to 30 trims with the addition of new 1.5 Diesel MT powertrain
- X-Line becomes even more exclusive with the addition of premium features like a dashcam, all window auto up & down with voice commands, and 7 seating options
- The newly launched Prestige (O) at Rs. 1,211,900 offers the best value for money with Smart keys, Push button start, and Rear LED lights
Included in this refreshed lineup is the enhanced X-Line model, which now boasts premium features like a dashcam, all window auto up & down with voice commands, and expanded 7-seating options, enhancing its exclusivity. The Carens X-line was initially launched in October 2023.
Among the new trims introduced, the Prestige +(O) variant in 7DCT and 6AT showcases the country’s renowned feature, the ‘Sunroof’, along with an LED Map lamp and room lamp. The Prestige (O) variant offers a choice between 6 or 7 seating capacities, a leatherette-wrapped gear knob, a smart key with push-button start, an LED Rear Combination lamp, an LED DRL, and a positioning lamp.
Additionally, the Premium (O) trim enhances convenience with features like Keyless entry, an 8” D/Audio system, Shark Fin antenna, Steering wheel-mounted remote control, burglar alarms, and bolstered safety features.
In a move emphasizing customer-centricity, all models now come equipped with a 180W charger, marking an upgrade from the previous 120W charger.
