Hero has launched the Xtreme 200S 4V in the Indian market at an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.41 lakh. The latest addition to Hero’s lineup comes with notable mechanical updates and introduces three new paint schemes. The key highlight of the Xtreme 200S 4V is its upgraded 199.6cc, single-cylinder, four-valve, oil-cooled engine, producing 19.1hp and 17.35Nm of torque. This powerplant offers a significant improvement in performance compared to the Xtreme 200S 2V variant, which generates 18.08hp and 16.45Nm of torque. Hero has also optimized the gear ratios to enhance acceleration, making the riding experience more exhilarating for enthusiasts.

In terms of features, the Xtreme 200S 4V gets a comprehensive connectivity suite, including smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and a Bluetooth-enabled LCD display with call and notification alerts. Additionally, the bike is equipped with split clip-on handlebars and LED headlights, elevating its modern and sporty appeal. Cosmetically, the new variant retains the familiar design of the Xtreme 200S 2V but introduces three attractive new paint options: Moon Yellow, Panther Black Metallic, and Matt Axis Gray Metallic.

With its competitive pricing, the Hero Xtreme 200S 4V aims to entice consumers seeking an energetic and feature-packed 200cc motorcycle. The model is Rs 6,000 and Rs 9,000 more affordable than its competitors, the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and Bajaj Pulsar F250, respectively. However, it comes with a slight premium of Rs 3,000 over the Bajaj Pulsar 220F. With these offerings, Hero aims to strengthen its position in the 200cc motorcycle segment and attract riders looking for a stylish and performance-oriented two-wheeler.
