KYT Helmets has launched its flagship R1R full-face racing helmet in India, with prices starting at ₹39,000. First showcased at India Bike Week, the R1R enters the market as a premium, race-focused offering developed with direct inputs from the brand’s MotoGP programme.

Designed in Italy, the R1R features a tricomposite shell construction combining carbon fibre, aramid fibre, and fibreglass, along with a multi-density EPS liner for enhanced impact protection. The helmet is certified to ECE 22.06 standards, ensuring compliance with the latest global safety norms.

Aerodynamics and ventilation have been optimised through extensive wind tunnel testing, delivering high-speed stability and efficient airflow. The helmet also features a wide-vision visor with Optical Class 1 clarity, a racing lock system, and Pinlock readiness for improved visibility.
According to Ajit Bharadwaj, the R1R brings true race-bred engineering and uncompromising safety to Indian riders, further strengthening KYT’s presence in the premium riding gear segment.

The KYT R1R is available in multiple variants, priced at ₹39,000 for standard graphics and ₹43,500 for carbon and replica editions, across authorised dealerships in India.
