Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles (TMPV) has partnered with N-Dream to introduce AirConsole, the world’s leading in-car gaming platform, to India with the launch of the Tata Sierra.ev. The electric SUV becomes the first vehicle in the country to offer a native in-car multiplayer gaming experience, adding a new dimension to connected mobility.
Integrated into the Sierra.ev’s triple-screen infotainment setup, AirConsole is available through the Arcade App as part of Tata Motors’ connected services package. Unlike conventional casting-based solutions, the platform is built directly into the vehicle, utilizing the cabin’s displays, sound system, and spatial layout to create an immersive gaming experience for passengers.
Passengers can instantly join multiplayer games by simply scanning a QR code displayed on the vehicle’s screen, using their smartphones as wireless controllers without requiring any additional hardware or downloads.
The platform launches with around 15 games spanning trivia, action, and party genres. A major highlight is Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC), bringing India’s iconic television quiz show into the car for the first time. The Sierra.ev’s displays transform into the quiz stage, while passengers use their smartphones as buzzers, creating an engaging entertainment experience during charging breaks or while the vehicle is stationary.

Anthony Cliquot, CEO of N-Dream and AirConsole, said India represents one of the fastest-growing automotive markets globally, adding that Tata Motors’ focus on premium in-cabin experiences made the Sierra.ev an ideal platform to introduce AirConsole in the country.
Vivek Srivatsa, Chief Commercial Officer, Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd., stated that integrating AirConsole with the Sierra.ev enhances the SUV’s connected technology ecosystem while redefining entertainment inside the vehicle.
KPIT Technologies, which became part of the AirConsole ecosystem in 2023, has played a key role in expanding the platform beyond Europe into markets including Asia and the United States. The company believes the partnership will make in-car gaming more accessible to Indian families while showcasing the future of connected cockpit experiences.
With AirConsole, Tata Motors is positioning the Sierra.ev as more than just an electric SUV, offering an interactive digital ecosystem that blends mobility with entertainment and sets a new benchmark for connected car experiences in India.
