PURE Partners with Charge Power to Enter US & Canada Energy Storage Markets

PURE, a leader in advanced battery technology and power electronics, has announced a strategic partnership with Charge Power Inc., a Canadian corporation with deep expertise in energy storage across North America. This partnership marks PURE’s formal entry into the energy storage markets of the United States and Canada, expanding its global footprint.

Under this collaboration, PURE will export its PuREPower product line to North America, focusing on grid-scale applications in the US and a mix of commercial, industrial (C&I), and grid-scale deployments in Canada. Products will be marketed through a co-branding strategy.

PuREPower systems feature:

  • High energy-density lithium-ion batteries

  • 5th-generation power electronics

  • Cloud-based monitoring with predictive AI

  • Multi-level thermal management with nano-PCM cell cooling and liquid pack/rack cooling

These innovations ensure near-100% uptime, enhanced safety, longer lifespan, and high efficiency.

“PuREPower is the result of over eight years of R&D and field-proven performance across diverse sectors in India,” said Dr. Nishanth Dongari, Founder & Managing Director, PURE. “We are excited to bring our solutions to the US and Canada, leveraging Charge Power’s strong EPC and market presence. This marks a key milestone in our global growth journey.”

Ravi Pinnelli, Managing Director of Charge Power Inc., added:

“PURE’s advanced energy storage technologies complement our EPC and lifecycle expertise. With over 4 GWh of project experience in North America, this partnership positions us to deliver high-performance, resilient solutions for residential, commercial, and grid-scale markets.”

The North American energy storage industry is on a strong growth trajectory.

  • US market projected to reach USD 70.7 billion by 2033 (CAGR 13.9%)

  • Canada market expected to hit USD 18.38 billion by 2030 (CAGR 15.8%)

This demand is driven by the rapid adoption of renewable energy and the need for reliable, scalable storage solutions.

PURE will retain full intellectual property rights for its energy storage products as it accelerates its global expansion.
