Tata Motors Strengthens Leadership in Electric Cargo Mobility with Magenta Mobility. Expands Fleet to 350 Tata Ace EVs Across 10 Cities

Tata Motors, India’s leading commercial vehicle manufacturer, continues to drive the nation’s transition to green mobility by expanding Magenta Mobility’s Tata Ace EV fleet to 350 vehicles with the delivery of 20 additional units. This milestone is part of the ongoing collaboration under the 2023 MoU to deploy 500 Ace EVs.

Currently operating across 10 cities, Magenta Mobility’s Ace EV fleet has clocked nearly 50 lakh electric kilometres, helping save an estimated 2,500 tonnes of CO₂ emissions. The zero-emission Tata Ace EV is actively used in diverse sectors such as e-commerce, courier services, FMCG, FMCD, and dairy.

Built on a rugged platform, the Tata Ace EV offers a certified range of 161 km, a payload capacity of 1000 kg, and is powered by the Fleet Edge connected vehicle platform for real-time vehicle and driver analytics. Features like regenerative braking and advanced battery cooling ensure reliable performance, while a dedicated network of 200+ EV service centers supports seamless operations.

With over 8,000 units sold and 6 crore electric kilometres completed, the Tata Ace EV is at the forefront of India’s e-cargo revolution.
