Volkswagen India has introduced the Virtus Anniversary Edition, a limited-volume special edition celebrating the success of the Virtus premium sedan in the Indian market. Based on the Virtus GT Plus Sport, the Anniversary Edition brings exclusive styling updates while retaining the sedan’s renowned blend of performance, safety and German engineering.

The highlight of the special edition is the introduction of an exclusive Avocado Pearl exterior finish, paired with a contrasting black roof and black alloy wheels, giving the Virtus a more distinctive and sporty appearance.

Speaking on the launch, Nitin Kohli, Brand Director, Volkswagen India, said the Anniversary Edition celebrates the strong customer response the Virtus has received since its introduction and further enhances its desirability with the exclusive new colour.

The Virtus GT Plus Sport continues to offer a premium feature list, including a 20.32 cm Digital Cockpit, electric sunroof, Laser Red ambient lighting, aluminium pedals, automatic headlights, rain-sensing wipers and an auto-dimming IRVM.

Under the bonnet is Volkswagen’s 1.5-litre TSI EVO turbo-petrol engine, producing 150 PS and 250 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission for an engaging driving experience.

Safety remains a strong point, with the Virtus offering six airbags as standard, a 5-star Global NCAP safety rating, and more than 40 advanced safety features.

Volkswagen is also offering customers the option to fit genuine accessories, including a 360-degree camera, front parking sensors, and puddle lamps, through authorised dealerships for both the Virtus and Taigun.

The Volkswagen Virtus Anniversary Edition is priced at ₹19.19 lakh (ex-showroom) and will be available in limited numbers across Volkswagen dealerships in India.
