The Tata Punch EV has been spotted for the first time in the open. The Tata Punch EV test mule shares exterior styling cues with the petrol-powered Punch. The rear disc brakes are one element that is noticeably different, and this might be carried over to the ICE version of the Punch. Since there is no readily apparent charging port, we anticipate that it will be located in the fuel lid, just like Tata’s other electric vehicles.
The Tata Punch is built on the ALFA platform, which can easily be converted from an ICE setup to an electric configuration. The Punch EV receives an electronic parking brake and a drive selector from the Nexon EV Max, according to the one image of the interior that is currently available. While it keeps the same 7-inch touchscreen as the ICE version, Tata may eventually add the bigger 10.25-inch touchscreen found on the Nexon EV Max Dark.
The Tata Punch EV is expected to go into production by June this year and it could be launched around October, following the festive season. It is expected to be priced between Rs 9.5 lakh-10.5 lakh.
