Tata Power has introduced the Ez Charge card, an advanced RFID-enabled card designed to facilitate electric vehicle charging across India. The card offers a user-friendly “Tap, Charge, and Go” feature, utilizing its RFID chip to ensure secure and seamless initiation of charging sessions and payment processes. Users can start charging their electric vehicles automatically by tapping the card on the Tata Power EZ charger, based on a pre-set recharge value.

The Ez Charge Card proves especially beneficial in areas with limited mobile network coverage, ensuring users can charge their EVs without connectivity issues. Additionally, the card can be shared with others while maintaining the account owner’s privacy, once it is linked to the Ez Charge account.
