Tata Buzzard, the seven-seater version of the Harrier has been spied once again, albeit closely. The rear portion of the vehicle can be clearly seen. This new SUV will be a seven-seater, hence it is longer by about 62mm. The increased proportions allow it to offer a third row of seats, making it a proper seven-seater.

The Buzzard or Cassini (likely production name) will come with the same 2.0-liter engine, sourced from Fiat. It will however come in a higher state of tune. This could be 170bhp instead of the present 140bhp in the Harrier. The wheelbase also has been extended.

Tata Harrier, though successful, has come under a lot of pressure form MG Hector and Kia Seltos, Hence, Tata is looking at expediting the launch of the seven-seater version.
The Hexa also has been discontinued and it will be the Buzzard, which will replace it.
The Buzzard is also likely to get an automatic transmission. There will also be more features on offer, like a sunroof, an updated infotainment system, and AC vents for the third row.
