Skoda released two design sketches of the upcoming SUV Kushaq which is set to be launched on 18 March 2021.

Skoda Kushaq’s design close to Vision IN concept SUV.

18th March Kushaq will be revealed.

Sub 4m SUV (compact SUV) will be priced between Rs 10 to 16 Lakh.

Kushaq will have 93 percent of its components localised.

The design of the midsize SUV for the Indian market draws inspiration from Skoda Vision IN concept car. The first design sketch shows the compact SUV to be edgy, a dual split front headlight, a wide grille to give a prominent look. 17-inch alloys give the car more beast look.

Kushaq in Sanskrit means King

On the rear side of Kushaq, you can see all-LED taillights with a roof spoiler and a rugged rear diffuser on the bumper.

In terms of technology, the midsize SUV and the other upcoming volume models are based on the locally developed and produced MQB-A0-IN platform.

Skoda aims to achieve 95 percent localisation of parts.

The SUV will be priced very competitively around Rs 10 to 16 lakh price mark. The rivals of Kushaq will be Hyundai Creta as it is also set to be launched soon and even Kia Seltos.

We’ll have to wait for prices to be announced officially.
