Nissan Motor India has officially unveiled the all-new Nissan TEKTON, marking the global debut of its flagship C-SUV. Launched at an introductory starting price of ₹10.49 lakh (ex-showroom) for the T160 range and ₹14.99 lakh for the T280 range, the TEKTON represents a significant step in Nissan’s product offensive for the Indian market. Manufactured at the company’s Chennai facility, the SUV has been developed under Nissan’s ‘One Car, One World’ philosophy and will also be exported to multiple international markets.

Positioned in one of India’s most competitive SUV segments, the TEKTON stands out by offering a 100% turbocharged petrol engine lineup, segment-leading 280 Nm of torque, Google Built-in connectivity, and a class-leading 700-litre boot space. Nissan says the model has been designed to deliver premium styling, advanced technology, and everyday practicality for Indian buyers.

Inspired by the iconic Nissan Patrol, the TEKTON features a bold SUV design with C-shaped LED headlamps, a full-width chrome grille, connected LED tail lamps, flush roof rails, muscular wheel arches, and dual-tone skid plates. Inside, the cabin adopts a premium tri-tone theme with leatherette upholstery, dual digital displays, powered ventilated front seats, a fly-by-wire gear selector, and soft-touch materials throughout.

The SUV is offered with two turbo-petrol engine options. The Turbo T160 prioritises efficiency with a claimed fuel economy of 19.4 kmpl, while the more powerful Turbo T280 develops 163 PS and 280 Nm, paired with either a six-speed manual or a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Both engines feature Nissan’s GT-R-inspired Mirror Bore Coating technology for improved efficiency and reduced internal friction.

Technology is one of TEKTON’s biggest highlights. The SUV comes equipped with a 10.1-inch Tek-Link HD infotainment system featuring Google Built-in, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, native Google Maps, Google Assistant, Google Play support, over 55 connected car features, wireless charging, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, ambient lighting, an Arkamys 3D sound system, and a smart air purifier with Plasmacluster ioniser.
