Toyota has introduced the latest Vellfire MPV in India, priced at Rs 1.20 crore (ex-showroom, India). Positioned as a sibling to the upscale Lexus LM, the new Vellfire offers two variants – Hi and VIP – with the latter featuring the Executive Lounge package. Surprisingly, Toyota launched the Vellfire ahead of the expected timeline, which was initially set for September 2023. Unofficial bookings for the MPV began at some Toyota dealerships in June.

Sharing its underpinnings with the Lexus LM, the new Vellfire maintains a familiar appearance, featuring a sizable six-slat grille showcasing the Toyota logo. The design includes split headlamps with LED daytime running lights, a U-shaped chrome strip on the bumper, and a V-shaped tail-lamp enclosure with prominent Vellfire badging.

The top-tier Vellfire VIP variant includes the Executive Lounge package, offering second-row captain’s chairs with retractable tables, heating, ventilation, and a detachable control panel for media and climate adjustments.
