The new 2021 Tata Safari is offered in both 6-seater and 7-seater options which comes in six variants – XE, XM, XT, XT+, XZ, XZ+. The Safari has been launched at a starting price of Rs. 14.69 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The new Tata Safari will be available in three colour options-
- Orcus White
- Royal Blue
- Daytona Grey
XE trim comes with only one colour option that is Orcus White.

Tata Safari Engine options:
The Safari will come with the same 2.0-litre diesel engine that produces 168 bhp (brake horsepower) and 350Nm of torque. The 1956cc engine is paired with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic gearbox. The SUV gets three driving modes Eco, City and Sport.
ESP terrain modes have three modes that are Normal, Wet and Rough.
Tata Safari Design and Styling:
Xenon HID projector headlamps with dual function LED DRLs, flared wheel arches, revised chrome studded tri arrow grille, 18-inch machine-cut alloy wheels, signature taillights, Safari branding on the tailgate and silver roof rails.
Tata Safari Interior and cabin:
SUV gets a panoramic sunroof, an 8.8-inch floating infotainment system with Tata’s iRA connected car technology, three-spoke steering wheel, 7-inch instrument panel for the driver, premium oak brown leather seat upholstery, nine-speaker JBL system, electric car parking brake.
Tata Safari Dimensions and Platform:
SUV measures 4,661mm in length, 1,894mm in width and 1,786mm in height.
The wheelbase stands at 2,741mm.
The SUV is underpinned by the Land Rover D8 derived Optimal Modular Efficient Global Advanced Architecture

N. Chandrashekaran, chairman, Tata sons take the stage to talk about safari, says the safari “has been designed with full of comfort, convenience”.
“We will make the Safari rule the Indian Roads once again”, said Guenter Butschek, MD and CEO, Tata Safari.
The Tata Safari will rival with MG hector, Jeep Compass, Mahindra XUV 500 and Toyota Innova Crysta.
