Kia India has recently unveiled the Seltos facelift, which comes with several new features and reintroduces the turbo-petrol engine. Bookings for the Seltos facelift will open on July 14. The Seltos facelift introduces a new Pewter Olive color option and offers various other solid and dual-tone colors.
In terms of design, the Seltos facelift features a slightly larger bumper, redesigned headlights with LED daytime running lamps extending into the grille, and a four-block design for the fog lamps. It also sports 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, new inverted L-shaped tail-lights connected by an LED light bar, and a refreshed tailgate design with reduced chrome elements.
The interior of the Seltos facelift boasts a dual-screen setup with two 10.25-inch displays—one for the digital instrument cluster and the other for the touchscreen infotainment system. The center console has been refreshed with thinner AC vents and a redesigned panel for HVAC and media controls. The GT Line and X Line trims offer distinct interior color themes.
As for features, the Seltos facelift is equipped with 16 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) features, including a 360-degree camera, dual-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, heads-up display, electronic parking brake, rain-sensing wipers, and a Bose-tuned 8-speaker system with sound mood lamps. Safety features include 17 ADAS functions, six airbags, a tyre pressure monitoring system, ESC, and Hill Assist Control.
Under the hood, the Seltos facelift retains the 1.5-litre petrol engine producing 115hp and 144Nm of torque, as well as the 1.5-litre turbo-diesel engine generating 116hp and 250Nm of torque. Additionally, a new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine has been introduced, which delivers 160hp and 253Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed iMT or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
The Seltos facelift will compete against rivals such as the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, MG Astor, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Honda Elevate, and Citroen C3 Aircross.
