Kia India has officially teased the all-new Sorento, marking the brand’s entry into the hybrid SUV segment in the country. The premium flagship SUV is set to become Kia’s first hybrid offering in India, strengthening its growing premium SUV portfolio.
Globally recognised for its sophisticated design, advanced technology and family-focused practicality, the Sorento has sold over 4.8 million units across 132 countries since its debut in 2002. Now in its fourth generation, the SUV arrives in India with the latest design language and hybrid technology.
The teaser showcases the Sorento’s upright stance, muscular shoulder lines and commanding road presence. A distinctive two-tier LED lighting signature, featuring an illuminated light bar across the front and vertically stacked lighting elements, hints at the SUV’s modern and premium styling.
Internationally, the Sorento has earned accolades including the IIHS Top Safety Pick+, a 5-Star NHTSA safety rating, and Car and Driver Editors’ Choice recognition, underlining its reputation for safety, quality and capability.
Kia has also opened pre-bookings for the all-new Sorento through its dealerships and official website ahead of its official launch. More details, including specifications, features and pricing, are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
