Before making its global debut, the Hyundai Exter mini SUV has been sighted in its entirely unmasked form. With the Tata Punch and Maruti Suzuki Ignis as competitors, this car is expected to be Hyundai’s next significant launch in India. The design is packed with square and boxy components, giving the vehicle an SUV-like appearance. Headlamps, a big rectangular grille, and a set of DRLs with the “H” emblem are all present on the front fascia. Its muscular stance is accentuated by the side profile’s sleek lines, wide wheel arches, and body cladding. The attached LED tail lamps with the ‘H’ symbol enhance the appearance.
Although the Exter’s interior has not yet been unveiled, it is expected to be loaded with features similar to those found in other Hyundai vehicles, including a large infotainment system, a digital driver’s display, wireless phone charging, automatic climate control, and cruise control. Six airbags or more should be included in the safety kit, together with electronic stability control, rear parking sensors with cameras, and ABS with EBD.
The Grand i10 Nios 1.2-litre petrol engine with 83hp and either a 5-speed manual gearbox or an automatic manual gearbox (AMT) is anticipated to power the Exter. After introduction, a CNG option may be added, and the 1-litre turbo-petrol engine is also likely to be offered.
The Exter, which will soon be released in India, looks like a potential entrance into the mini SUV market with a distinctive style and the expected amenities and safety technology.
