The anticipation surrounding the highly-awaited Tata Safari facelift has been building up among automotive enthusiasts. Now, their eagerness has been satisfied as spy images have surfaced, providing a clear look at the unmasked interior of the upcoming Safari update for the very first time. The upcoming Tata Safari facelift boasts a complete design overhaul, revealing a more premium and tech-packed interior. The dashboard features a new two-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel, an all-new infotainment system, and design elements from the Curvv and Sierra EV concepts. The center console has been revised with a smaller gear lever and a larger rotary dial, while physical controls are minimized. The exterior also receives a major design update. The Safari facelift is expected to launch alongside the updated Harrier in September 2023, with the current powertrain options remaining unchanged initially.
The interior of the Safari facelift showcases a richer look with leatherette padding and contrast double-stitching on the lower dashboard. The upper portion gets a colored, gloss dashboard insert, and the AC vents are now sleeker. A full-digital instrument cluster replaces the semi-digital one. The SUV will have very few physical interior controls, but essential functions like temperature, blower settings, and drive modes will still have physical dials and toggle switches. The facelifted Safari is anticipated to have a significant price increase due to the quality and equipment upgrades.
