The car on display got all-black interiors however, we can expect a combination of Beige and Black for the Indian Market. Various Piano Black touches on the inside also lift up its appeal.
It now gets a new 8-inch touchscreen system compared to the 7-inch on the outgoing model. With this new touchscreen, the dashboard looks very premium and symmetrical than the outgoing model. Honda has kept the customers’ feedback in mind and now uses the convenient rotary nobs for the Climate Control compared to the touchscreen offered now. The instrumental console continues to be a two-dial analogue plus a decent-sized digital Multi-Information Display. It continues to offer Eco Mode and a Stop-Start system.
On the safety front, it offers six airbags, ABS EBD as standard, Vehicle Stability Control and Hill Start Assist.
Under the hood, it gets a new 1.0l Turbo Petrol motor that churns out 122hp and 173nm of torque mated only to a CVT gearbox with paddle shifters. It is expected to deliver good 23.8kmpl for a petrol motor. However, it’s not sure whether Honda will continue to offer this powertrain option for the Indian Market. The 1.5l diesel motor offered with the current model will be upgraded to meet the BS-VI norms. It is also likely to offer a 1.5l hybrid Petrol motor.
