Royal Enfield has officially launched the much-awaited Bullet 650 in India, introducing the iconic motorcycle in its most powerful avatar yet. Priced at Rs 3,64,856 (ex-showroom), the new Bullet 650 marks a major milestone in the legacy of one of the world’s longest-running motorcycles in continuous production.

Originally introduced in 1932, the Bullet has remained a symbol of timeless motorcycling for over nine decades. With the introduction of the 650cc version, Royal Enfield has retained the motorcycle’s unmistakable design and character while integrating the brand’s proven parallel-twin platform for enhanced performance and refinement.

Speaking about the launch, B Govindarajan, Managing Director of Eicher Motors and CEO of Royal Enfield, said the company’s focus was to elevate the Bullet’s legacy while preserving its authentic identity. He also highlighted the strong global response the motorcycle received following its showcase at EICMA 2025.

Classic Bullet Design Meets 650cc Power

The new Bullet 650 stays true to the iconic silhouette that has defined the motorcycle for generations. It features the signature teardrop-shaped fuel tank with hand-painted pinstripes, winged 3D badging and the familiar upright riding stance.

Royal Enfield has also retained signature design cues such as the casquette-mounted LED headlamp and the iconic “tiger-eye” pilot lamps, elements that trace their roots back to the 1950s.

The motorcycle rides on a steel tubular spine frame and comes equipped with a Showa suspension setup comprising 41mm front forks and twin rear hydraulic shock absorbers. Traditional proportions are maintained with a 19-inch front wheel and 18-inch rear wheel setup.

Proven Parallel-Twin Engine

Powering the Bullet 650 is Royal Enfield’s tried-and-tested 650cc parallel-twin engine paired with a 6-speed gearbox and slipper clutch. The twin-cylinder motor promises smooth power delivery, effortless cruising ability and refined performance for both city rides and long-distance touring.

The motorcycle also gets twin peashooter exhausts finished in chrome, delivering a distinctive exhaust note while complementing the retro styling.

Modern Features with Retro Character

Despite its classic design philosophy, the Bullet 650 receives modern rider-focused features. The updated instrument cluster combines analogue styling with a digital LCD display that shows:

  • Fuel gauge
  • Trip meter
  • Gear position indicator
  • Service reminders

Other highlights include:

  • LED headlamp
  • Premium aluminium switchgear
  • Adjustable levers
  • Raised handlebars
  • Comfortable single-piece bench-style seat

Colours and Availability

The Bullet 650 will be available in two colour options:

  • Cannon Black
  • Battleship Blue

Royal Enfield will also offer a wide range of Genuine Motorcycle Accessories for riders looking to personalise their motorcycles for touring or everyday riding.

With the launch of the Bullet 650, Royal Enfield has expanded its growing 650cc lineup while preserving the timeless appeal of one of motorcycling’s most iconic nameplates.
