KTM Duke 390 has got a lot of love from enthusiasts who wanted a superbike to feel at a budget. Following the same, KTM has decided to also enter into the market with an 800cc motorcycle. Some dealers have also unofficially started taking the bookings with an amount ranging between ₹30,000 to ₹50,000. For 2019, only 100 units have been allotted to India which be delivered on a first come first serve basis.

The middleweight motorcycle will be underpinned by a lightweight chassis. It will give greater rigidity and a compact stance will allow and help in better handling for sharp turns and better lean angles.

It would get dual front disc brakes and 43 mm USD forks at the front and a mono-shock at the rear. It shall get all-LED headlights and taillights giving a premium feel.

It will also get a TFT Screen featuring various rider assist features like track mode, Traction Control, Quickshifter Plus, Motor Slip Regulation, SuperMoto Mode, and Motorcycle Stability Control along with cornering ABS.

It will weigh 174kgs making it one of the lightest motorcycles in the segment. It is expected to offer a similar color scheme as seen on Duke 390 already. In the international market, it is on sale powered by a 799cc parallel-twin engine churning out 105BHP of power and 86NM of torque.
