Hero MotoCorp has recently introduced the Hero Xtreme 160R 4V with an initial price of Rs 1.27 lakhs (ex-showroom). This bike is available in three variants: Standard, Connected, and Pro. Although the overall appearance remains similar, there are a few changes such as new graphics, colors, revised fuel tank, under cowl, rear grip, lowered headlamp with finlets, and a new seat with both single and split options.

The Standard trim offers Blazing Sports Red and Matt Slate Black color choices, while the Connected variant is available in Matt Slate Black. The Pro version comes in Neon Shooting Star and Matt Slate Black color options.

Hero MotoCorp claims that the Xtreme 160R 4V is the fastest motorcycle in its segment, boasting exceptional acceleration and drag timing. It is equipped with a 163.2cc, air-oil cooled, 4-valve engine that delivers 16.9 PS at 8500 RPM and 14.6 Nm at 6500 RPM, coupled with a 5-speed gearbox. The bike can accelerate from 0 to 60 km/hr in a claimed time of 4.4 seconds. While they assert it has the best 0-100 km/hr and top speed, specific data has not been disclosed in the specifications.

The bike features a 37 mm inverted KYV front fork suspension and a 7-step adjustable monoshock rear suspension provided by Showa. Braking is facilitated by a 276 mm front petal disc and a 220 mm rear petal disc. It has a seat height of 795 mm, a ground clearance of 165 mm, a 12-liter fuel tank capacity, and a kerb weight of 145 kg.

In terms of features, the Xtreme 160R 4V comes with a complete LED setup, including position lamp, low beam, high beam, tail lamp, signature tail lamp, and winkers. The display provides information such as Bluetooth status, battery health status, service alerts, etc.

The Hero Connect 2.0 system offers a range of features such as remote immobilization, geo fence, theft alerts, battery removal notification, SOS alert, low fuel alert, over-speeding alert, topple alert, in-app navigation services, real-time vehicle tracking, location sharing, driving reports, call and SMS alerts, turn-by-turn navigation, find my vehicle, and more.
