Hero MotoCorp has finally taken the wraps off its much awaited XPulse 200. This is the most affordable adventure tourer in the country. This bike comes in three variants – XPulse 200T, XPulse 200 (carb) and Xpulse 200 (FI).

The XPulse 200 is capable of off-roading and comes in a carbureted and FI version, priced at Rs. 97,000 and Rs. 1.05 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively.
The XPulse 200 is fitted with a 199.6cc engine that delivers 18.2bhp of power and 17.1Nm torque. This engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The bikes bears a fully digital instrument cluster and app connectivity for navigation. The XPulse 200 is a cheaper alternative to the Royal Enfield Himalayan and is bound to attract first time adventure tourers and kickstart a new segment altogether.

The Hero XPulse 200 will also continue from where the Hero Impulse had left. There was quite a demand for a dual sport / adventure motorcycle in the growing Indian market.
These motorcycles are good news for those looking for an affordable alternative for their touring needs.
