Triumph has introduced the 2024 Tiger 900 lineup in India with only two available variants: the GT priced at Rs 13.95 lakh and the Rally Pro at Rs 15.95 lakh. The previous Tiger 900 Rally model has been discontinued, both internationally and in the Indian market.
The new Tiger 900 features an 888cc triple-cylinder engine that offers more power and torque, producing 108hp at 9,500rpm and 90Nm at 6,850rpm. This represents a significant increase of 13hp and 3Nm compared to the previous model. These performance enhancements position the Triumph Tiger 900 competitively against the pricier Ducati Multistrada V2 and DesertX, which correspond to the GT and Rally Pro, respectively.
Both models have seen a 10mm increase in seat height, with the GT’s seat now ranging between 820-840mm and the Rally Pro’s perch elevated to 860-880mm.
Additionally, the updated Tiger 900 lineup features a new 7-inch TFT dashboard, borrowed from the larger Tiger 1200, and this display now includes standard Bluetooth connectivity, which was previously offered as an option.
