Honda has launched the much awaited Activa 125 with BS-VI engine at a starting price of Rs. 67,490 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This new scooter has a fuel injection engine and claims to be 13% more fuel efficient.
Honda Activa is the highest selling scooter in the world. With the new Activa 125, Honda aims to set new standards in emissions and fuel efficiency.
The new Activa 125 now gets a start/stop system and a side stand immobilizer and indicator. In terms of cosmetic changes, it gets a newly designed LED position lamp and a new front chrome element on the apron. The tail lamp gets ‘Activa’ embossing.
In addition to the 18-liters fuel tank, the Activa gets a front glove box as well for better & more covenient storage. There is also an external fuel filler for added convenience.

The new Honda Activa 125 comes with many new updates:
1. ACG Starter :
It starts the engine jolt free via the same AC generator used to generate current and charge the battery while riding. This eliminates the need for a conventional starter motor, thus, there are no gear meshing noises.
2. Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-FI) NEW:
It injects the right amount of fuel in cylinder based on specific engine data and constant feedback from the sensors. It results in smooth and linear power output throughout.
3. Improvised tumble flow:
Honda developed the world’s first tumble flow technology through integrated die-casting process. It produces tumble flow by optimizing inlet port shape and using reverse flow phenomenon, without adding additional components leading to combustion improvisation.
4. Friction Reduction:
Offset Cylinder, compact weight crankshaft & piston reduce overall engine friction. Optimized weight results in improved fuel efficiency.
5. Mileage UP:
The mileage Activa 125 is up by 13% due to a completely new engine powered by globally acclaimed eSP technology.
