Honda Opens First-Ever EV Concept Store in Bengaluru, Unveils Affordable ₹678/month BaaS Plan for Activa e:

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) is turning up the charge on its EV game. The brand has just pulled the wraps off its first-ever EV Concept Store at Mantri Square Mall, Bengaluru—a bold step that not only showcases Honda’s future-forward tech but also brings electric mobility closer to the average Indian rider.

And to sweeten the deal, Honda also announced a brand-new BaaS Lite plan for the Activa e: at just ₹678/month, making battery-swapping and EV ownership more accessible than ever before.

Step Into the Future: Inside Honda’s EV Playground

More than just a retail space, the Concept Store is a glimpse into Honda’s electric vision. Think sleek LED displays, a digital history wall tracking Honda’s milestones, and interactive zones that break down the tech behind its electric powertrains. It’s not just about products—it’s about telling the story of Honda’s mobility evolution.

On display: the Activa e: and QC1, Honda’s current EV flagbearers. Visitors can get up close and personal with the engineering, including PMS motors, hub motors, chargers, and swappable battery packs. A dedicated Safe Tech Zone gives you the nuts and bolts view, including live demos of the Honda Power Pack Exchanger e:—Honda’s slick battery-swapping station.

And if you’re into cool tech beyond two wheels, the store doesn’t disappoint. A scale model of the Honda Jet adds aviation flair, while the electric Go-Kart (eGX) and Moto Compacto—a 19kg foldable EV scooter—round out the lineup with future-ready fun and urban functionality.

Activa e: Gets Even More Accessible with BaaS Lite Plan

The Activa e: already features Honda’s Mobile Power Pack e:—developed in Japan, managed in India, and built to swap on the fly. Each scooter houses two 1.5 kWh batteries and delivers a real-world range of around 102 km.

But what’s got heads turning is the new BaaS Lite subscription plan—₹678 per month for 20 kWh energy usage, aimed squarely at low-mileage users. It’s the most affordable way to get into battery-swapping EV ownership yet, and it works in tandem with Honda’s growing network of swap stations.

This Lite plan joins Honda’s existing Basic and Advance subscription tiers, giving customers the flexibility to choose based on their usage.
