Tata Motors has begun deliveries of its Prima E.55S electric prime movers to BillionE Mobility, while also securing an additional order for 250 units—signalling strong momentum in India’s zero-emission freight segment.

The fleet will be deployed in phases across key corridors, including Gujarat, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Delhi NCR, and Haryana for long-haul movement of industrial goods. The first batch was handed over in the presence of Girish Wagh, Kartikey Hariyani, and Rajesh Kaul.

BillionE Mobility plans to scale up to 1,500 electric trucks over the next 6–18 months, leveraging the Prima E.55S’ 450 kWh battery and long-haul capability. Built on Tata’s i-MoEV platform, the truck offers up to 350 km range, fast-charging, and advanced safety tech, focusing on uptime, efficiency, and lower operating costs.

Tata Motors continues to expand its alternate fuel portfolio, backed by its Sampoorna Seva 2.0 ecosystem and nationwide service network.
