Tesla Model 3 is one of the most popular electric cars worldwide. It has now also been proved to be one of the safest vehicles on the road.
Tesla Model 3 was recently tested by the Euro New Car Assessment Program (Euro NCAP). Euro NCAP is an independent body in Europe that evaluates the safety standards of a vehicle. It revised its standards and made it tougher in 2018.

Tesla Model 3 has scored a 5star safety rating in all aspects, including, Adult Occupant Protection, Child Occupant Protection, Vulnerable Road User, and Safety Assists.
Tesla Model 3 gets various Safety features like 6 airbags, ABS, EBD, Traction Control,
Autopilot features include Lane Keep Assist, Blind spot collision warning, Autopilots Autosteer, and Traffic-Aware Cruise Control.
Adult Occupant protection evaluates how a vehicle protects its driver and passenger. Child occupant safety evaluates how a vehicle protects its young occupants. Vulnerable Road Users aspects takes care of safety features for various elements on roads like pedestrians, cyclists, etc. Safety assist evaluates cars’ active safety capabilities, like auto braking, etc.

With all the safety assist features that Tesla has been rolling out through OTA (Over the Air) updates, the vehicle now gets features like Lane Departure Avoidance, Advances Driver Assistance, Active Safety Brake, etc, it became the first car to score 96% in Safety Assists till date.
From frontal impact tests to various pedestrian safety tests, Tesla has proved itself to be one of the best and safest. Being an electric vehicle, it doesn’t have its Engine in front which has helped it provide better crumple zones to absorb as much shock as it can and keep the cabin intact. At the same time, the side pole tests show that the body is very well built as after the crash, the deformation of the body was very compared to other vehicles taking this test.
