Renault India has officially commenced nationwide customer deliveries of the all-new Renault Duster, marking a significant milestone for the brand’s SUV portfolio in the country. The first delivery was carried out in Chennai, coinciding with the inauguration of a new ‘new’R retail store on Mount Road.
The inaugural handover was attended by François Provost and Stephane Deblaise, who presented the keys of the first Duster to Dr. Arthanari Manickavasagam, a Chennai-based customer.

The newly launched ‘new’R outlet is a 1S urban facility spread across 4,500 sq. ft., featuring a 3,000 sq. ft. customer interaction and display area. Designed as an experiential retail format, the showroom can display up to five vehicles and includes a dedicated delivery bay aimed at enhancing the overall customer experience.
This marks Renault’s second ‘new’R store in Chennai and takes the total count of such outlets in India to 11. The company plans an aggressive expansion of this format, targeting 70 outlets nationwide, complementing its existing network of over 350 sales touchpoints.

A pioneer in India’s mid-size SUV segment, the Renault Duster continues to witness strong customer interest. Renault is further strengthening its ownership proposition through the “Renault Forever” program, offering extended coverage of up to 7 years or 150,000 km.
The start of deliveries comes on the back of strong business momentum for Renault India, which recorded a 77% growth in March 2026, driven by models such as the Kiger and Triber, alongside the introduction of the new Duster.
