Range Rover Sport SV Carbon Joins Flagship Line-Up as the Ultimate Expression of Lightweight Luxury Performance

Range Rover has completed its performance flagship line-up with the global debut of the Range Rover Sport SV Carbon, bringing together dynamic capability, cutting-edge carbon fibre detailing, and modern luxury. Positioned alongside the Range Rover Sport SV and SV Black, this latest iteration makes its world premiere on 13 August at Range Rover House during Monterey Car Week.
Designed as the most assertive interpretation of the Range Rover Sport SV, the SV Carbon features exclusive carbon finishes and curated paint options for those seeking a lightweight performance aesthetic. Customers can choose from four standard colours or the SV Premium Palette, complemented by a Forged Carbon Exterior Pack as standard. Optional highlights include a Twill Exposed Carbon fibre bonnet and carbon detailing around the Active Quad Exhausts.
Performance remains uncompromised, with the SV Carbon powered by a 4.4-litre Twin Turbo V8 mild hybrid petrol engine producing 635PS and 800Nm of torque, delivering a top speed of 180mph. A carbon fibre SV engine cover adds to the bespoke detailing under the bonnet.
Lightweight engineering is central to the SV Carbon’s appeal. 23-inch forged alloy wheels are fitted as standard, with optional ultra-lightweight 23-inch Carbon Fibre Wheels contributing to a 76kg weight saving. Braking performance is enhanced by optional Carbon Ceramic Brakes with eight-piston SV calipers available in Blue, Yellow, Carbon Bronze, or Black.
The cabin maintains a performance-focused luxury ethos, with Forged Carbon Fibre-backed performance seats featuring integrated headrests, sculpted bolsters, and illuminated SV logos. Four interior themes are available – from Ebony Windsor Leather to Cinder Grey Ultrafabrics™ for a leather-free option – with further personalisation possible via the Range Rover SV Bespoke programme. Twill Carbon trim, Moonlight Chrome accents, and SV-illuminated treadplates complete the bespoke interior detailing.
The 6D Dynamics Suspension with hydraulically interlinked air springs ensures outstanding composure under cornering, acceleration, and braking. Inside, the innovative Body and Soul™ Seat (BASS) audio system delivers an immersive, tactile listening experience with wellness benefits.
Ryan Miller, Product and Services Marketing Director at Range Rover, commented:
