Mercedes-AMG has introduced the G 63 Grand Edition SUV in India, priced at Rs 4 crore (ex-showroom). This exclusive model represents one of the final batches of the current G 63 in India, as an extensively updated version is set to make its global debut next year.
The AMG G 63 Grand Edition comes equipped with distinctive features, including 22-inch wheels and a unique exterior color with gold accents. Only 25 units of this special edition G-Wagon will be available in India, with priority given to existing Maybach, S-Class, and Mercedes-AMG customers.
The vehicle’s exterior is distinguished by its exclusive Manufaktur Night Black Magno color complemented by gold graphics. It rides on larger 22-inch center-lock forged AMG wheels, also finished in gold. Gold accents are applied to various parts, such as the bumpers, front skid plate, spare wheel ring, and interior details, including the seat stitching. The interior is lavishly adorned with Nappa Leather covering virtually every surface, and a ‘Grand Edition’ badge is prominently displayed on the passenger side grab handle.
Under the hood, the AMG G 63 Grand Edition features the same 585hp, 850Nm, 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine as the standard AMG G 63 SUV.
