Lamborghini Fenomeno: A Phenomenal ‘Few-Off’ Masterpiece with the Most Powerful V12 Ever

Automobili Lamborghini has unveiled the Fenomeno, an ultra-exclusive “few-off” hypercar limited to just 29 units, which will debut at Monterey Car Week 2025. Conceived as both a design manifesto and a technological showcase, the Fenomeno celebrates 20 years of Lamborghini Centro Stile while setting a new benchmark for performance and innovation.

At its heart lies the most powerful V12 in Lamborghini’s history—an 835 CV naturally aspirated 6.5-litre engine paired with three electric motors for a combined output of 1,080 CV. This allows the Fenomeno to sprint from 0–100 km/h in just 2.4 seconds, reach 200 km/h in 6.7 seconds, and exceed 350 km/h, making it the fastest Lamborghini ever built.

A True ‘Design Manifesto’

The Fenomeno reinterprets Lamborghini’s unmistakable design DNA with a futuristic “long-tail” silhouette, bold aerodynamic detailing, and a hyper-elegant yet purist aesthetic. Every line merges functionality with beauty: from the DRL light signature inspired by the bull’s horns, to racing-derived fins, and the striking Y-shaped front splitter. The debut color, Giallo Crius, highlights the sculpted upper body while contrasting with exposed carbon elements below.

Inside, the cabin embodies Lamborghini’s “Feel Like a Pilot” philosophy. A race-inspired driving position, new sport bucket seats, a carbon-fiber-intensive cockpit, and three digital displays create a minimalistic yet immersive environment. Further exclusivity comes via Ad Personam customization, offering clients more than 400 exterior colors and near-unlimited interior options.

Aerodynamics & Chassis Innovation

The Fenomeno is engineered with aeronautics-inspired lightweight construction. Its monofuselage chassis combines a carbon-fiber monocoque with a Forged Composite® front structure. Aerodynamic solutions include an S-Duct for increased downforce, NACA-inspired side intakes for 30% more efficient cooling, and an ‘omega’-shaped active rear wing for high-speed stability.

Motorsport-Derived Technology

Race-bred components make the Fenomeno a track-ready road car. Highlights include:

  • CCM-R Plus carbon-ceramic brakes derived from Lamborghini’s LMDh prototype, ensuring maximum stopping power.

  • Single-nut forged wheels with bespoke Bridgestone Potenza Sport tires (also available in semi-slick specification).

  • Racing shocks for precision dynamics and adaptability.

  • 6D sensor with Integrated Vehicle Estimator (IVE)—a first for Lamborghini—delivering predictive vehicle control for unmatched agility and stability.

Hybrid Powertrain Excellence

The naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12 revs to 9,500 rpm, producing 835 CV and 725 Nm. It’s supported by three electric motors: two on the front axle for torque vectoring and regeneration, and one integrated with the new 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Powered by a dedicated 7 kWh lithium-ion battery, the system delivers electric-only four-wheel drive capability while enhancing acceleration and cornering performance.

A Phenomenon in Name and Nature

Named after a legendary bull pardoned for its bravery in Mexico in 2002, “Fenomeno” also translates to “phenomenal” in both Italian and Spanish—apt for a car that redefines the limits of design and engineering.

The Fenomeno represents the ultimate synthesis of Lamborghini’s DNA—performance, exclusivity, and avant-garde design,” said Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini. “It’s not only the most powerful V12 we’ve ever created, but also the most technologically advanced few-off in our history.”
