Kia India has achieved a major safety milestone with the All-New Kia Seltos securing a 5-star rating under Bharat NCAP. The SUV also recorded the highest Adult Occupant Protection score among ICE vehicles tested, along with one of the strongest Child Occupant Protection scores.

The certification was presented by Nitin Gadkari, marking a new benchmark for internal combustion SUVs in India.

Built on the updated K3 platform, the Seltos scored 31.70 points for adult protection and 45.00 for child safety, achieving the highest combined score among ICE models tested so far. It features a comprehensive safety suite including 6 airbags as standard and ADAS Level 2 with 21 advanced driver assistance features.

With this, the Seltos becomes Kia’s second model after the Syros to secure a 5-star BNCAP rating, reinforcing the brand’s strong focus on safety while continuing its strong sales momentum in the Indian SUV market.
