JLR India Achieves Record-Breaking Sales in FY25 with 40% Growth

JLR India has posted its highest-ever annual sales, clocking 6,183 retail units in FY25 — a 40% year-on-year growth, marking a milestone in its 17-year journey. Wholesale volumes also reached a record 6,266 units, up 39%.

The company capped off the fiscal with its best-ever quarterly performance in Q4 FY25, recording 1,793 retail and 1,710 wholesale units — a massive leap of 110% and 118%, respectively, over Q4 FY24.

Driving this growth was sustained demand across the portfolio, led by the Defender, which saw a 90% spike in sales, making it the top-selling model of the year. The locally produced Range Rover and Range Rover Sport also recorded strong gains of 72% and 42%, reflecting increasing customer preference for ultra-luxury SUVs.

JLR India’s success is anchored by its House of Brands strategy, which has deepened its connection with affluent buyers and positioned Range Rover and Defender among the most aspirational luxury SUVs in the country.
