The Flying Spur Hybrid offers extensive customization options, with a choice of 60 exterior colors, including Mulliner customization choices. Bentley also provides a blackline specification for this model, which includes blacked-out accents on chrome trims like the grille, window surrounds, headlight surrounds, door trims, handles, exhaust pipes, and the Flying B mascot. The only visible indicator of its hybrid nature is the ‘hybrid’ badge on the boot lid.

Inside, customers can select from 15 upholstery color options, including five standard and 10 optional colors. Additionally, there are eight veneer options available for the dashboard. To enhance customization further, Bentley offers contrast stitching, piping, and emblems on the seats.

Powering the Flying Spur Hybrid is a 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 engine combined with an electric motor, resulting in a total output of 544hp and 750Nm of torque. Bentley claims that this hybrid variant can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds and boasts a range of up to 805 kilometers, with an electric-only range of up to 41 kilometers.

Bentley has ambitious plans for its lineup, with the goal of offering a hybrid powertrain option across its entire model range – including the Continental GT, Flying Spur, and Bentayga – by 2024. Furthermore, Bentley intends to launch an all-electric model in 2025, with the aim of transitioning its entire portfolio to electric vehicles (EVs) by 2030.

While the Flying Spur Hybrid competes globally with the Mercedes-Maybach S580e, it doesn’t have a direct competitor in the Indian market. In India, the standard Flying Spur competes with luxury cars like the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class (priced between Rs 2.69 crore and Rs 3.40 crore) and the Rolls Royce Ghost (priced between Rs 6.95 crore and Rs 7.95 crore).
