Flat-Track Racing Inspiration Shapes the Design
The Tracker 400 draws heavy inspiration from oval dirt track racers, a discipline known for producing some of the world’s most skilled riders. With its stripped-back styling and aggressive stance, the motorcycle captures the competitive spirit and minimalistic design typical of flat-track machines.
The design highlights include:
- Flat and wide handlebars for better control
- Tracker-style fuel tank with sculpted knee recesses
- Colour-coded seat cowl with race detailing
- Fly screen and number board displaying “400”
- Dual-spoke wheels with a sporty stance
The motorcycle is offered in three race-inspired colour options:

- Phantom Black
- Aluminium Silver Gloss
Each colour scheme features bold Tracker graphics, racing stripes and distinctive mud-splatter style detailing to emphasise its motorsport roots.

Engine and Performance
Powering the Tracker 400 is Triumph’s updated TR-Series 350cc engine producing 40PS at 8,750 rpm, tuned to deliver responsive performance suited for both city riding and spirited weekend rides.
The motorcycle features a torque-assist clutch for smoother gear shifts and reduced clutch effort, making it more accessible for new riders while still offering engaging performance for enthusiasts.
Chassis and Suspension Setup
The Tracker 400 is built around a dedicated chassis designed to offer sharper handling and better rider engagement. Triumph has equipped the motorcycle with premium suspension components to match its sporty intent.
Suspension duties are handled by:
- 43mm upside-down big piston forks with 140mm travel at the front
- Gas-charged rear monoshock with preload adjustability and 140mm travel
The bike rides on MRF REVZ FD1 dual-purpose tyres, which combine the visual appeal of flat-track rubber with road-focused grip and stability.

Key features include:
- Switchable traction control
- Dual-channel ABS
- Torque-assist clutch
- Analogue speedometer with digital tachometer
- Seat height of 805mm for accessible ergonomics
Braking performance comes from powerful four-piston radial calipers, delivering strong and progressive stopping power.
Premium Finish and Attention to Detail
True to Triumph’s Modern Classic philosophy, the Tracker 400 showcases meticulous attention to detail. From precision-machined engine cooling fins to powder-coated engine covers and neatly integrated components, the motorcycle reflects the brand’s premium craftsmanship.
The paint finish, chassis components and aluminium swingarm further enhance the bike’s premium appeal while maintaining its clean and uncluttered visual identity.
