Triumph’s New Tiger 850 Sport is a road-focused adventure bike aimed at daily commuting. Triumph Tiger 850 Sport Is launched in India ahead of its global launch showing how important is the Indian market to the company.
Triumph Tiger 850 Sport price starts at Rs 11.95 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
Triumph’s 888cc liquid-cooled, 12 valve, DOHC, inline 3-cylinder produces a power of 85 Ps at 8500rpm and 82 Nm of torque at 6500rpm.
The T-plane triple crank & unique 1-3-2 firing gives superior tractability at low rpm, ideal for city riding. The engine comes with a slip and assist clutch, which reduces lever effort and provides additional comfort on both long journeys and city rides.

The company boasts about its handling being very confident, agile and dynamic with exceptional manoeuvrability. This lightweight handling is possible due to 7kgs of drop-in weight than its previous-gen Tiger 800 XR. Now Triumph Tiger 850 Sport weighs 192 kgs (dry weight).
Now the motorcycle is even slimmer than before and has an adjustable seat height with 20mm adaptability (810-830 mm). This makes it easier for shorter riders to manoeuvre and handle the motorcycle.

The Triumph Tiger 850 Sport comes with class-leading suspension setup by Marzocchi, on the front Marzocchi 45mm upside-down cartridge forks and on the rear adjustable gas pressurised rear suspension.
It also gets category-leading Brembo Stylema® brakes.
The new 850 Sport has Michelin’s versatile and confidence-inspiring Anakee adventure tyres which give excellent confidence-inspiring grip in both wet and dry conditions.
