Nissan Motor India has introduced a government-approved CNG retrofitment kit for the Nissan GRAVITE, aimed at enhancing affordability and efficiency without compromising space or practicality. The kit is priced at ₹82,999 (introductory) and is available across 16 states through authorised dealerships.
Twin-Cylinder Tech Retains 7-Seater Practicality
A key highlight of the GRAVITE CNG is its segment-first smart twin-cylinder layout, which ensures that the vehicle retains full 7-seater modularity and usable third-row space. This makes it a practical solution for families seeking lower running costs without sacrificing cabin flexibility.
Performance, Safety and Efficiency
Developed and manufactured by Motozen, the CNG kit is BS6.2-compliant and ICAT-approved, ensuring safety and reliability. It features:
- Sequential CNG system with dynamic advancer technology
- Heavy-duty cylinders with 8.1 mm thickness
- Seamless petrol-CNG switchover
- Fuel filling point integrated under the fuel lid
- Factory-fit finish with optimised rear seat layout
The system is designed to deliver improved fuel efficiency and significantly lower per-kilometre running costs compared to petrol, making it ideal for high-mileage users.
Warranty and Availability
Customers opting for the retrofit kit will receive a 3-year / 1,00,000 km warranty on kit components via a third-party provider. Installation can be carried out at authorised Nissan dealerships, ensuring a convenient and trusted ownership experience.
