Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, sold 637,050 units in September 2024.

Year-to-date for FY’25 (April-September 2024), the company has sold 3,054,840 units, marking a 10% growth compared to the same period last year (April-September 2023). Strong demand continues across the 100cc, 125cc, and premium segments.
Hero MotoCorp also expanded its global business, achieving a significant 30% growth in year-to-date international sales.

With the festive season approaching, bolstered by a good monsoon, there is a positive outlook in the industry. Hero MotoCorp is preparing for the season with customer offers similar to previous years, spanning its diverse product portfolio. The company is seeing strong customer footfall and has a solid pipeline of bookings, anticipating robust growth during the 32-day festive period starting October 3.

In a notable collaboration, Hero MotoCorp partnered with Thums Up to launch the Mavrick 440 Thunderwheels, a limited edition of its flagship Mavrick 440. This exclusive series of 300 motorcycles will be available to customers who purchase Thums Up until November 31, 2024.
Additionally, Hero MotoCorp introduced the new Hero Xtreme 160R 2V 2024 Edition in September, priced at INR 1,11,111. This model includes a segment-first drag race timer, a redesigned taillight, and improved pillion comfort with an enhanced rear grip span.
In September, the company also auctioned 75 exclusive collector’s edition motorcycles, ‘The Centennial,’ raising ₹8.58 crores in total, with the highest bid reaching ₹20.30 lakhs. All proceeds will support charitable initiatives.
