The motorcycle has been developed in Germany and will be locally produced in India.
Positioned as an accessible yet premium adventure tourer, the F 450 GS carries forward the brand’s iconic GS lineage, designed to offer versatility across city roads, highways, and challenging off-road terrain.

Price and Variants
The BMW F 450 GS is available in three variants:
- Base – ₹4,70,000
- Exclusive – ₹4,90,000
- GS Trophy – ₹5,30,000
(All prices ex-showroom)
BMW India Financial Services is offering flexible ownership solutions, with EMIs starting from ₹9,999 per month. Special packages such as ‘3 Years of Care’ and ‘3 Years of Stylish and Protective Care’ further enhance the ownership experience with warranty, service plans, and accessories bundled in.

Design and Ergonomics
The F 450 GS features a rugged yet refined design language, staying true to the GS family DNA. Up front, it gets a distinctive X-shaped full LED headlamp, complemented by a sculpted fuel tank and the signature GS ‘beak’. The motorcycle also features a slim rear section and a purposeful stance.
The 845 mm two-piece seat and ergonomically designed fuel tank ensure rider comfort and optimal control, whether seated or standing during off-road riding. The GS Trophy variant stands out with its Racing Blue Metallic paint scheme and contrasting accents.
Chassis, Suspension and Braking
Built around a newly developed tubular steel frame, the F 450 GS is engineered for both durability and agility. Suspension duties are handled by upside-down front forks and a rear monoshock with adjustable preload and rebound damping.
The motorcycle rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear tubeless wheels, paired with a 310 mm front disc brake with a Brembo 4-piston calliper and a 240 mm rear disc setup, ensuring strong stopping power across conditions.

Engine and Performance
Powering the BMW F 450 GS is a newly developed 450 cc twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine producing 48 hp at 8,750 rpm and 43 Nm of torque at 6,750 rpm. A standout feature is the 135-degree crankshaft offset, which enhances refinement while delivering a distinctive exhaust note.
The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox featuring Shift Assistant Pro for clutchless gear shifts. Additionally, the Easy Ride Clutch (ERC) enables automatic clutch operation at low speeds, making city riding and off-road manoeuvring significantly easier.

Riding Modes and Safety
The F 450 GS offers four riding modes — Rain, Road, Enduro, and Enduro Pro — allowing riders to adapt the motorcycle’s behaviour based on terrain and conditions.
Safety features include:
- ABS Pro (cornering ABS)
- Dynamic Brake Control
- Engine Drag Torque Control
- Switchable traction control and ABS in Enduro Pro mode
Features and Connectivity
The motorcycle comes equipped with a 6.5-inch TFT display offering excellent visibility and detailed ride data, including lean angle and traction control information. The system is controlled via a handlebar-mounted multi-controller and includes a USB-C charging port for added convenience.
Accessories and Customisation
BMW Motorrad offers a wide range of genuine accessories for the F 450 GS, including luggage systems, protection parts, and navigation equipment, enabling riders to tailor the motorcycle to their specific touring and off-road needs.
With competitive pricing, strong feature packaging, and genuine off-road capability, the BMW F 450 GS is set to attract a new generation of adventure riders in India while strengthening BMW Motorrad’s presence in the rapidly growing mid-capacity ADV segment.
