One of the most desired motorcycles in the world – the Suzuki Hayabusa or GSX 1300R had been discontinued recently, much to the grief of its fans. However, good news is that this brand will make a comeback next year and the new bike a much improved one.

To start with, the Hayabusa will meet new emission norms and will be BS-VI compliant. It will get a lightweight alloy frame, USD front forks, a sturdier swing arm better tuned rear monoshock. The engine will be the same, with tweaks for it to meet new emission norms. We guess that might impact its performance a wee bit. However, it has to be seen how well Suzuki engineers work to retain its irrepleceable character.

However, it will look completely new, with a sleeker front and rear look. The body will be sharper with a more chiselled look. An all new look, however will retain the essence of the Hayabusa, which will make it distinctly recognizable.

The Suzuki Hayabusa sells decent numbers in India, even today. Infact, it sells more than the Intruder 150. Such is the craze for this bike. We expect Suzuki to showcase this new model by the end of this year.
